LIFE IS ABOUT THE PEOPLE YOU MEET AND THE THINGS YOU CREATE WITH THEM

Picture

Hello,

What characterizes me, is my passion for innovative ideas, social impact, and entrepreneurship. When I was 20 years old, I realized that there was a gap in Greek society. Because of the Greek economic crisis, many nonprofit organizations in Greece needed support, and most young people couldn’t use their skills due to high unemployment. So, with a great team of people I co-founded ethelon, an organization promoting volunteering in the Greek society and creating the adequate framework for cooperation between volunteers, NGOs, and companies, aiming for a more active and equal society. Since then, more than 15,000 volunteers have supported more than 350 nonprofits with more than a million hours of volunteering, evolving ethelon as one of the fastest-growing networks of volunteers.
Through my work, I have collaborated with top Fortune 500 companies, such as Mercedes, received a Fellowship from the United States Department of State, international recognition from Ashoka Foundation as a Changemaker, spoke in TEDx events, featured in international media, such as The Guardian, CNN, Huffington Post, and in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list, in the category of Social Entrepreneurs. Holding an MBA degree focused on FinTech and Global Sustainability at Gabelli Business School of Fordham University in New York. Now, I am now the Director of Nudge the Good initiative of RW Institute and applying behavioral insights to the practice of employee giving and volunteering, designing Nudges that can lead to a sustained pro-social behavior in the workplace, working with a few of the best companies in Corporate Citizenship in the United States such as NVIDIA, Starbucks, Nike and others in their social impact, diversity equity, and inclusion efforts.
I have explored 51 countries & 24 states, run two marathons (Athens & New York) and if you ask me whom he admires the most, he will say my wife Eleana for her work ethic!

My Manifesto

Today, is the greatest day it could ever be. You don't have to work 8 to 10 hours, you can work either 4 or 18 hours, as long as your feed your productivity and your creativity instead of strict restrictions and negativity, in order to unleash your human-kind potential. Work 30 days in a row, or take the month off. Personal time, freedom and detachment are necessary to be able to observe the broader picture. Travel, books and people's ideas are the nutrition of mind. Do not underestimate them.
It is the only way to avoid what people think possible or impossible. Do not believe in personal limits, just on exciting them, not necessarily to always win, but to make sure you did the best you can. Don't wish to be lucky, just not to be unlucky. You can not always control the final outcome and it is okey. The thing you can control though is the effort you invested for it? Are you sure you did the best you could?
Don't stay at words, move to action. Stop complaining for the things you can not change. Take the responsibility and give solutions to the problems you see around you. "Is not about being the founder, nor the leader, it's all about being the changemaker". Respect the other people, the diversity and the environment.
Each moment is unique. And the small actions combined is what finally makes the difference.
Say more often thank you. Thank you
